As Legislative Agent for your organization, we will serve as proactive and forceful advocates for your organization in Frankfort, dedicating our best efforts and utilizing years of bill and amendment drafting experience, a government and legal education, a vast array of legislative procedural skills, and personal and professional contacts, to achieve all goals as established by your organization.

The following are some of the services available to your organization:

1. Identifying topics, issues, and bill draft proposals for consideration by the Kentucky General Assembly; making recommendations; and facilitating discussions concerning a Comprehensive or Strategic Legislative Agenda, formulated jointly by the Legislative Agent and your organization.

2. Planning, writing, and distributing bill drafts included in your Comprehensive or Strategic Legislative Agenda.

3. Seeking legislative sponsors to introduce bill drafts, resolutions, and/or amendments.

4. Forcefully advocating positions on behalf of your organization, with or without consideration of a Comprehensive or Strategic Legislative Agenda.

5. Monitoring the progress of all bills introduced pursuant to your Comprehensive or Strategic Legislative Agenda.

6. Communicating with legislators, legislative and executive branch staff, interested parties, and the general public, regarding interpretation, implementation, and/or legislative intent of your Comprehensive or Strategic Legislative Agenda.

7. Taking appropriate measures to defeat, derail, and/or delay bills introduced or proposed to be introduced that may adversely impact your organization; and communicating with interested parties regarding the potential detrimental effect of such bills or proposals.

8. Drafting bid responses to federal, state, and local government agency Request for Proposals (RFP’s), for individuals and businesses.

9. Responding to inquiries from the media, issuing press releases, and hosting press conferences.

10. Organizing and/or assisting in the organization of legislative social events on behalf of your organization, or in conjunction with other entities.

11.  Researching, drafting, and applying for grants and aid from federal, state, and local agencies and from private entities.

12.  General non-profit organization and small business assistance.
